Find God/Goddess

Hello everyone. How do I figure out who my God/ Goddess is? Are there any other ways to figuring that out instead of meditation?

You can research the deities you like. The ones that 'call' to you are the ones that stand out more than the rest or are the ones you like most. Many believe that different names of the deities are different facets of the same deity, so research the corresponding deities if you want a slightly different variation. Be sure to be okay with what they were about and go from there.

Eis is right, i am still looking into my god and goddess. i feel that i may found them but not sure if i feel as connected with them yet.. But i know i will find the right ones. I feel that Freya and Loki are main god and goddess. I feel real connected with them. Since i am so into norse mythology and paganism. :)

Yes, Patron and Matron deities are the main deities your work with, but are not the only ones. When one refers to the ofthe times Triple/Moon Goddess and the Horned/Sun God in rituals, you would be placing your Patron and Matron deities there.

Discovering mine was an unusual experience. I had several dreams about ravens, as well as the bizarre experience of a strangely persistant raven following me around at the Grand Canyon. Knowing nothing about norse myths, I wrote a fictional story about ravens, it paralleled a norse myth, as I later discovered.

Since then, the norse pantheon has always had special.significance to me, especially Odin. My advice is to trust your instinct and explore your world; you will.know when you have found your deity.
