Depends on the type of healing. Do you mean more as a physical healing or mental/emotional healing?

What are you trying to heal them of? Do they have any major health problems, or allergies? Are they on any medicines? If yes, what kinds?

Using herbs for healing should be done with caution, especially when done internally :)

Internal bleeding is very serious. But if they are getting medical attention and you want to facilitate the healing, I suggest cayenne. Yes it's hot, but it can help to stop the bleeding of an external or internal wound if drunk 3 times a day. It is also beneficial to the blood and healing in general and is wonderful for the heart. Since most people don't exactly enjoy drinking cayenne, I usually suggest steeping cayenne in chicken broth (or chicken soup) for 15min. Using cheesecloth as a makeshift teabag will prevent all of the cayenne itself from mixing into the liquid, but allow the oils to. I personally have a sensitivity to any type of pepper touching my throat. I sneeze like mad when its shaken on food at the table too, so I use cheesecloth to allow the constituents to enter the tonic without the evil pepper pieces! Lol

I would also suggest garlic. The oils of garlic are the only ones that will actually permeate the lungs. It spreads through our whole body through our blood and will even come through our sweat. This is why our breath smells like garlic hours after ingesting it and our skin can even have the scent. Garlic is a wonderfully healing herb. I could go on and on about it's properties. 2 large cloves of garlic is a daily medicinal dose.

So if you were to make a batch of broth per day
2 cloves of raw garlic and 2 tablespoons of ground cayenne (as fresh as possible) should be used, and that should be split into three portions to be drank three separate times daily. This should be used for a few days.

Healing blessings to your friend.

Another good way to treat internal bleeding is Shepards Purse. A dose of 1/4-1 tsp of the tincture given three times a day is relatively safe. It should be discontinued as soon as the bleeding has ended or within one month of starting. It is used mainly for heavy menstruation but works on other bleeding disorders as well :)
