Collective Consciousness
By: / Beginner
First off does anyone feel as if they were destined a fate and had enough evidence throughout one's life to have no doubt as to your destiny? I believe that I slip into alternate consciousness and I understand many things in a depth that is profound, yet I get lost as the comprehending of the infinate is frought with infathomable complexities.
I have numerology readings, a dad that has God tell him I am to be a prophet the day I was born, tarot, astrology, and the four different psychics that were randomly showing up. They said they were told by spirits to ensure me protection and guidence within the last six months. All that I research on myself are validifying both my conscious desires, numerology report, premonitions, natal chart, my father tells "God's" will for me, and it is causing me to loose my mind. Am I alone on this feeling of impending fate being set, and do you find yourself becoming lost in your overamplified mind as you realize that your choice or purpose is not your own? Have I lost my mind?

I think you may have lost your mind. Believing that you are some kind of chosen one, apart from everyone else, is a common symptom of delusional psychosis. That is just my view though, I may be completely wrong.

Don't listen to your Dad or any of those people. First of all, fate is what you make of it. Everyone has free will and it sounds like your father is imposing his will on you and it's making you stressed. Second of all, no offense to anyone out there or you Corvix but prophets don't exist in todays society, at least to the way I understand it. Now there are people who claim to be and go to form there own religions but, I wouldn't put any stock in what he says. Now, about the psychics I don't know why they stopped by but, most psychics who are paid to be psychics aren't legit. Look them up online and look at reviews on what people have said about them. Either way, if it's all good or all bad you can't trust what they say. They could be just going there because they've heard about your Dad and are trying to get paid by saying this and offering you help in return for some type of payment. If they are, decline respectfully because most likely they aren't legit.

Many people like to think they are "the chosen one". This does appear to be what they call "delusions of grandeur" though. If you truly believe you are losing your mind, seek help from a therapist.

Blessings :)

The psychics were all not asking pay, they were not pro. They are legit, have many friends that are gifted naturally with it. I don't want to think this way, it is just I didn't see myself as how I thought I would be. There are lots of odd things that have happened, I don't want to believe this shit. What I do is already not fun, because I am a person that helps as many people with what I have. It isn't much, just feel like humanity is failing and whatever I say people ignore the idea because they don't want to think. They want to erase their conscious thinking. I am not saying I am a chosen one, I just know that I am gonna have some larger than I wanted influence. I am to promote universal free will as the only transcending morality. If it harm none, do what thou will. Need to remember that others have the same right as us, and we have no right to inhibit their free will than they do ours. I am more meaning We are all divine cause we are all connected, and I don't believe in divine beings, yet a core energy.

When you said, "...infinite is frought with infathomable complexities..." that sounds like something Edgar Allan Poe, or someone else wrote in a story I've heard before.

I have no idea, I was messed up writting honestly. I am really asking about people's opinion on the subject. It was just weird instances that freaked me out, and if that was from Poe it was not intentionally done so, do have a healthy respect for his works which subconsciously I more than likely because of my alcohal intake earlier today when a friend visited.
I appologize for the waste of time on this topic.

As for the "Chosen one" approach, from the ages of 2 to 21, most humans believe they are the center of the universe, something unique and special that the world has never seen. It is a typical maturity symbol for emotional development. It is also a sign of selfish desire for ultimate attention. We all want to be the god or the symbol for something bigger and of greater understanding, but realistically we are just another piece in the puzzle of life.

As for question of fate. Fate is ever changing and ever evolving to your decisions. Fate is our recognition of the chain of events which happens FROM our choices. Fate does NOT drive our choices. We still have options. And we still change what fate gives us. Fate listens to us, not the other way around.

If you truly want to understand what you are as a person and as a soul, you need to figure out yourself, not what other people think of you. That is what meditation is all about my friend. Assuming the results of your life will give you opportunities that you may not measure up to, which is always hard to get over.

For instance, suddenly you think you have the fate of being a chosen one, if you foresaw something special in your future, and how it would come about, it would not be a question or an easily conquered idea. It would be permanent, as much as I believe my right arm can move. Stop letting other people try to figure you out and let yourself figure you out.

It sounds like the first thing you need to do is stop freaking out and take a deep breath. Get some space and sort out what you want to pursue and what you want to set aside. You, ultimately, make the decision for your path, don't let others send you astray because they want you to go somewhere.
