I like to listen to music

a lot. I'm pretty sure everyone does.
When i listen to my music, it keeps me calm and focused on what im doing.
So, i was wondering if any knew of any music that would be okay to listen to while doing a spell? and maybe even make the spell more powerful
Or do you just suggest that i don't listen at all?

Listen to the music u like best and that draws u in most

I'd say, choose the genre type of the music to suit your intentions for the spell.

Say for instance you want to cast a love spell, listen to something that empowers the romantic feelings and thus helping out with intention and visualization.

I could probably have given a better example, but that's all that came to mind.

I think that it'd be best to listen to the kind of music that evokes the kinds of emotions within you that are similar to the type of spells you will be performing.

Strong rhymthms are great for raising energy! Better still, get a drum and do it yourself! :D

I agree with Zebrah. I personally love Celtic music for working magick and raising energy. Keep it low though. Background music. You don't want it to be the main focus of your spell.

Absolutely!Music is "magical". Some people like to listen to relaxing music when they meditate, and it helps them( myself included), but some others cannot concentrate totally when they're listening to music. Thus, it's totally up to you. If you feel that listening to music while doing a magickal working , can help you, then by all means go for it. Music, chanting, drumming can also help you raise your vibrations when you're casting a spell:)

I have played "Calling All Angels" by Train, as the background to one of my spells and I also played "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf, in the background to charge me up for another spell. I did alright. Anyway, I hope this helps. Blessed Be.
