Ok I'll admit I havent even tried magic recently, but I experienced something magical just the other night.
I was sleepy but I had to take my dog out to do his thing. So I go outside with him. Suddenly I felt a serg of strainge energy. Its like I felt one with the night. I wanted to run; so I did. And now that I recal it I was tubing low to the ground and swaying my arms like I was using them to run. I almost felt anamalistic (I normally only feel this way when I am chasing something.
I know it wasn't just fresh air. It was different than that. All I know is somehow it also re sparked my intirest in energies.
Can anyone help explain it?
Oh,yes! There is much "energy" in the night,especially in areas where there is no modern "traffic". There is a "calmness" about the night. Many "joggers" do their running at night.(They will sleep better after it!) It is at night when most of nature "sleeps".Flowers close their petals.When wind in the trees gives off "energy".The air is "cleaner", you breathe easier, and more deeply.

Konstantinos is a controversial author. Some of what he writes is fantastic, other parts are on the line of fantasy. One of the very first books I read on magick was one of his. It was the only one in my neighborhood's public library.
He's definitely not a fluffy bunny in the lovey dovey sense.
From what you described, I would suggest you look into very natural magick, "folk magick" or "low magick" as it's called. Magickal practice involving lots of ritual or sitting inside the house over a candle won't feel as right to you as sitting in the grass with the moon as your light source chanting softly on the wind.
I used google to look up low magic. All I got was a book on it. I found nothing but a book purchase link over and over.
Do you know where I can start to look. And google is no help.
