I think if it were possible, which I doubt, think you'd have to be very skilled to switchbodies. I also believe that if you were to cast it on an unsuspecting person it would have less of a chance of working as their very soul would fight against your magic. If the person was willing the chance of it working would probably be highly increased. I also believe that souls shouldn't bs meddled with, but that's my personal opinion. I think there is a chance two people could switch bodies if they both astral projected and sort of tried to posses the other, but I know very little about astral projection. I guess a soul switching spell might work if two witches/magick users constructed an appropriate spell and cast it together. This is a very interesting topic.
There is a really cool short story about this. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, but it is in a collection of H.P. Lovecraft tribute stories. In this story, there is a couple and the woman becomes obsessed with astral travel -- always reading books and leaving them around the house, and she begins to neglect her boyfriend. Eventually he decides to read the books and see what it is she has been up to. He learns how to astral project, and in the astral plane he sees that his girlfriend has found her soulmate and they are in love. The girlfriend went through all of this trouble to trick the boyfriend into leaving his body so that the soulmate could possess it. And the boyfriend is left body-less and pursued by some unnameable horror.
BUT this is highly, HIGHLY unlikely because our souls are attached to our body by a sort of cord, which enables us to travel wherever we want and ensure that we don't get lost and return safely. This cord is believed to be severed only during death; so no, you can't switch bodies. Hypothetically you could possess someone, but I think this is only possible if you are already parted from your body (dead) because to be attached to one body and controlling another might be too large a division of consciousness to really work.
actually i have been doing astral projection for about 15 years and had limited success with body switching or soul transfer but only with one of the partners i tried with and we used a lot of tantric sex magik along with it i firmly believe it can be done but you must be VERY careful this is not something you want to play at you could wind up in a comma or dead.
First, it depends on the energies you have. It all depends on if you possess the energy needed and you believing it will work. If this works (which i have no experience in this area) then be careful with it, and cast it on someone who knows that its coming so they can make it so they dont fight it...
I dont think you can force someone out of their body, there is a connection between the body and soul.. in order to force the soul out for have to break the connection... Im going to assume if its like the triangle of Mind, body, and soul remove one that belongs and it falls apart... but im assuming
If this were possible, couldn't you possess a younger clone of yourself each time you are newar death, or a modified version to be rid of genetic diseases?
