I know that in indiana schools they block anything that has to do with the occult, magick, or spells. The only thing that I've managed to find unblock was witchvox.
As for the libraries in my city, they all aloud magick and pagan sites and have paranormal/occult/magick misc book sections, just tucked away in the back where many can't find them.

I honestly don't know about our schools here in Colorado or the libraries internet. Theres a chance they may block occult sites. On the libraries though we can check out books on the occult. I often have to put books on hold that belong to libraries in other parts of the city but we do have access. I've read almost every single one they offer.

must depend on what part of Indiana you live in. From my school (graduated last year) I could get SoM and many occult sites, and the ones I couldn't reach, I just proxied through, or used a different OS like Ubuntu live CD to get past any filters.

Very interesting, I didn't know that. Inquiring as to why occult related sites would be my first move if I was in your position.
