Did I ruin my honey jar?

I made a honey jar, I thought the jar was purely made of glass and ceramic, but the little details atop the jar were made of plastic and I lit a candle (I'm a moron I know)... The content of the honey jar is intact, only the plastic pieces were burned (therefore, the top of the jar is all blackened because of the plastic details adorning it).

My question is: did I ruin the honey jar or can I still use it even when the jar is all blackened on the top? Since the plastic on top of it burned... Should I start all over again, and if so, how do I throw this one away?

Ultimately it's what you yourself believe. You placed your intent and your energy into your workings. You used what was required. I see no reason to think you ruined your spell. Of course that's my opinion. I would suggest not doubting yourself.

I think I will throw it away. I really don't like the appearance of it, and I think one should put the best energies into a spell when done.

Just one question: should I just throw it away? or is there a ritual to throw it away?

Is the seal to the jar broken or its integrity compromised?

If so, then yes, you need to start another one.

If no, then youre ok.

Dont burn your place down.

Good luck! and I hope you post on your success!

If you feel like you should throw it away then you should do so.

The most common way of disposal would be by the means of fire, therefor burning it. However that is not advisable if we're talking about jars. You could wash away it's content in a river, the ocean, etc.. and recycle the container if you wish to do so.

yea, but if youre going to do that then be sure to open the jar before putting it in the river.

Thank you all! The jar broke anyways, it seems like the fire cracked the glass ... I'll start a new one!
