Lucky Rabbits Foot

My mom just gave me a rabbits foot and I was wondering if it matter which foot that a person should have to make it lucky. I know that the left foot is supposedly to be lucky, but I think i have a right one. Will it still work if I bless it to be lucky if it isnt a leftie?
