Horseshoe shaped burns
By: / Novice
I woke up today with horseshoe shaped burn marks on my chest, on the left side. They aren't a rash, but actual burns that have small blisters...like a normal burn would. Problem is they weren't there last night and nothing hot has touched me. They are in the same placement, and sort of shape, as if two fingers had jabbed me. While I am an experienced Wiccan, I have no idea as to why or how these appeared there. There are no marks suggesting a bug bite. I feel nothing disturbing me in my house. Anyone hear of this before?

Sounds rather like Shingles. Did you ever have chickenpox? If you did then you are very likely to develop shingles. You might want to have it checked by a physician.

I did this afternoon and was told they were burns. Nothing more or less. The problem is that there is no way I was burnt. I'm stumped.

Burns can be caused by more than just heat. There are also chemical burns.

And if it was something which took a while to happen (slow heat or hours-long chemical exposure), it may not have disturbed your sleep.

Nothing that would be on that part of my chest. I've looked in to all the common causes and can't find anything similar to it, and I've never heard of it before. The doctor was pretty confident it was a burn caused by heat.
Thanks for the replies
