Fluff

Why is it on this site when someone doesn't agree with the common populace they are branded a fluff? If you don't agree with someone then...well deal with it cause 9 time out of 10 they won't care. I have stated my beliefs on forums and in chat (when asked of coursed) and because someone is either mean or just can't cope with freedom of religion they have called me a fluff. And I realize that not all of the world is American but must you take that out on me and people who are brave enough to stand up and say "HEY THIS IS WHAT I BELIEVE?" I realize my beliefs are a little out there but why can't certain people just say who cares and move on. And some people say that they want to teach us those who are supposedly ignorant. But who ever said we wanted that. Just try and teach me and I will throw that lesson back in your face. Not literally mind you this the internet. And the fluff word is the nicest thing I have heard thus far. I have heard "the vampire mental institution is calling you back", and other people being called "looney" or "crazy" or "mental." I will make a lot of people mad by saying this but...tough if other people aren't pulling punches neither will I. This reminds me of the Christian Crusades (not that bad of course) in the respect that fluff is just like the word Heretic. It is just a word that describes another's contempt at a different idea that is not accepted. And it is Bull-you know the rest. Fluff is just as bad. So I am here to quote an age old adage: "Why can't we all just get along?" Thoughts and opinions please.

I totally agree with your perception theory. Reality is subjective and we can shape it to match our will. This is not what I know this is what I BELIEVE and belief makes all the difference. People who say things are impossible start to believe that it is and therefore give themselves limits because if it. I take pity of them really. The human race will never learn to grow if we keep saying that there are limits.

Interesting I'm a logcal person, but I've met people who'd be labeled fluffs who I believe. In the end I think anything is possible and calling some people fluffs is rough. I mean people who practice magick ought to have a open mind when it comes to the "impossible". Now if you said you were God or something I might look at you weird, but otherwise I'll keep an open mind. ;)

I guess this would be that 1 time out of 10 where someone does care.

This is what I like about your post most of all...

You want acceptance of whatever belief it is you hold (no clue what it is, never paid that close attention)...but you would "throw that lesson back in your face" to someone who wanted to teach you something.

Then you go on about how everyone who uses the term fluff or impossible are limiting themselves.

Irony. I love it.

You, and everyone else in the world, are free to believe in what ever it is you want to.

And I, along with everyone else in the world, am free to think your imagination went a little wild should I disagree based on experience.

Can't preach that it's ok for you to have your opinions, but not for others ;)

To K.Flamers: Maybe people wouldn't post this on here if people would be nicer. You ever think of that? Of course not people just keep being mean and expect us to take it well guess what...I will not. To RashnuX: Yeah I guess that is your right. But it is MY right to pick out flaws in your logic. You said I would throw the lessons in the face of someone who wanted to teach me somethin but I never said that. I said I would throw the lesson back in the face of people who wanted me to believe their way of thinking alone. There is a difference. And I never said I wanted acceptance about my beliefs. I am not trying to recruit anybody. I just want people to stop calling me fluff and other harsh words.

i agree you can tell your beliefs and stuff but when your "opinion" is mean and hurtful like "stop trying to confuse serious practitioners or like mention before the vampire mental institution is calling you back" then it isnt worth hearing or saying cause thats not an opinion thats just being rude. also i would like to point out that some people who say stuff like this usally say stuff like "im sick of hearing vamps and werewolves and other stuff" if your sick of hearing or reading it then dont read. as simple as that
