need help im new to this

I need help with alot of stuff mainly the gods and goddesses. I have no clue as where to even find out about all the different ones so I can look into them further. If anyone can help me or tell me some of the names so i can look into them. Im looking for one that is in the gray area not white but not black either. White and black becomes meaningless once you understand something called perspective.
I'd suggest the egyptian gods, after all, the egyptian people were not slaves who built the pyramids, it was from their love of the gods.
