There's a girl in my room

She's shadowy and I can't really see too much of her. She's kind of just watching me. I'll explain more when I can. Leave theories if you like.

She's probably a spirit

Has it ever happened before?

Ok to explain a little more, I take an hallucinogen every night as a sleeping pill (prescribed by a doctor), now I'm fully aware when I'm hallucinating because it's silly things like a little man in a tophat pulling out the wires from my TV or my paintings coming to life and trying to talk to me even though they have no voice or even my walls and ceiling looking like they're liquid and rippling like a lake or something. It's always something small like that and it's never made me question whether it was real or not. Except for once, when I was in college I had taken one of my pills and, in the time it takes for you to actually fall asleep, I got up and grabbed some water. When I was walking back to my room I saw something dark and shadowy, like smoky quartz, and almost ran into it. I took a step back and saw it was a woman, she had long hair and looked like she was wearing a dress maybe? She was just watching me as I went back to my room and I remember that I verbally said something along the lines of "Jesus! You scared me!" and then I kind of just watched her watching me and then I went back to my room. She didn't move or follow me and I never saw her again. Now a similar thing happened last night where I was just getting to the point of "I can sleep now" and I looked over and there was a little girl watching me, she was only about 3 feet tall and she didn't scare me like the first one did. It felt like she was curious and so she was just watching to see what happened next. She had the same smoky quartz look to her as the first one and so I'm wondering, are my medications somehow unlocking some abilities? Have I had these abilities all along? I never thought or claimed to be a medium before but now I'm curious. Or am I making a mistake and it's just another hallucination?

well for one thing you're taking sleeping pills that make you hallucinate these crazy things why? i get prescription and whatnot, but have you tried various herbal remedies? [i'm not saying throw your meds out the window, i'm just curious if anything that doesn't cause hallucinations have helped.]

if it feels different, perhaps it is bringing you to a state where you could be more aware, but since this meditation seems to be designed to make you sleep and a side effect is hallucinations, i would say probably not. but on the other hand, i can think of a few religions/cultures that use hallucinogenic plants to get into a spiritual state. these two instances are different to you than the hallucinations, and they both share a similar feel [smoky quartz] so it could be. perhaps try talking to them, or if you can't in this state, try meditating and asking questions, or you could use a divination tool to communicate with them. anyone can in theory connect with spirits, you just need to strengthen your clairvoyant side.

I don't think I would be able to talk to them straight on because if it is just a hallucination then it can't talk because they've never been auditory before and if it isn't a hallucination, well they've never talked to me before. I have tried herbal remedies and other things to help me sleep, the pills I'm taking are meant for sleeping and just have a side effect of minor hallucinations in some people. I am very good with tarot cards, I'm just not sure what I would ask other than "Was that really a spirit?" I'll try meditating while the pills are in effect tonight.

i see. sorry if i came off sounding mean, i was just curious why anyone would take medication with such a side effect. [but it's none of my business whatever works for you]

i feel in this situation you should go with faith. you know what it's like and if it feels different, maybe you did see a spirit. try communicating, but don't throw logic out the window and just blindly chase after the belief, you know?

Yeah, I didn't think you were being mean so no worries there. I'm just questioning it because these are so isolated and different from what I'm used to. I've never studied anything with sprits before so I just wanted to ask everyones theories. For now I'm filling this under "once in a blue moon weirdness" since I have no knowledge or known abilities with this kind of stuff.

There may be a spirit where you live. I don't know if that's true, but that could be. This usually happens when someone has died in your home or in your property many years ago. If you see here one then I can assume that it won't come again. If you see here more than once then she could have been killed in your property. Again this might not be true, but I'm assuming that's what happened.
