HELP PLEASE!!

I am trying to enter the chat rooms and it keeps telling me I need to disable my proxy server. I have not a clue on how to do this. My only internet source is my windows phone, I dont know where, why or how to disable the proxy on this thing. So if anyone out there knows how to go about doing this I am BEGGING please message me so I can be an active participant in the chat rooms. I dont want to be one of those people who just hops in here read the spells,and articles and thats it. I love chatting and learning from more experienced people. So anyone who could help me please, please let me know!! Thank you

It may not be your phone; the problem may be your point of access. I can use every feature of SoM on my phone, with both mobile network and my home wifi. But some places have their public wifi set up a bit differently. Trying to use chat at some places will give me the same error.
