I found a beautiful flower today, but I have no clue what kind of flower it is. It's purple, some grows tall to 5 feet and taller, and it have several branches covered with same little flowers.

Is it hyacinth? They don't grow that tall though. Do we get a picture, or do we get to go off a brief description?

Yes, a butterfly bush. In specific the variety called "Black Emperor". I have two large ones in my backyard. They are wonderful for attracting hummingbirds, butterflies, and honey bees to your garden.
