There are those who believe in astral or spiritual dragons. That's about as close to real as you will get with dragons, and many other creatures besides.
Depends on what you believe. Evidence suggests that dragons may have once existed. Just the sheer number of times they show up in the mythos is a testament to that. I don't believe you will ever find a large fire breathing lizard, but there may be something out there. At the centre of every legend there is a nugget of truth, you just have to figure out what that truth is. Pm me if you have anymore questions.

What evidence? There has never been any fossil remains of an animal that even resembles a dragon! Dragons are myths, beliefs. Like Unicorns! Stories for children.
Komodo dragons are real, they live in Komodo Island which is a real place.
But you're probably looking for the ones on the astral plane, yes. That has no such thing as taxonomy because it's a very silly place, but if you find enough of them then you can feel free to be the first to name and classify them.
I've only seen two, and they might be more like representations of concepts that I witness as forms of dragons because of subconscious bias, similar to how many deities would take the shape of humans because of human bias.

And I get rather tired of this idea that anything is possible "in the astral". It's like saying anything is possible in the imagination. Well, of course it is! You can imagine anything;including dragons!
Brysig there have been fossles of dragons or dinousors that's all they could be in the stories or myths is a last dinousor they were once real and maybe a few servived so dragons are myth they could have been just Dino's
