Where do you feel energy?

When I'm casting a spell, or even simply visualizing and directing energy to do something or go somewhere, I feel it primarily and strongly in my Heart Center.

Where do you guys feel the energy of your spells in and on your body?

You should feel energy all around you, everywhere as it is everywhere .
But during spells etc you should the amount o energy that is used and where you are directing it to. For example if you are trying to make it flow all over your body you should feel it all over your body , if you are trying to focus it in your hands , than you should feel it in your hands but also a bit in whole of your body as energy is everywhere

Whenever I work with my tarot cards, I always feel the energy of them in my hands.

You should put a shield of protection around yourself (if you haven't already ) if you are doing spells because someone with strong energy could easily redirect it towards you.

It depends on which spell ,if you are trying to curse someone then it could be redirected to you, not always you have to put a shield around yourself.
Also sometimes during magic workings , rituals etc they direct spiritual creatures onto and also at times dark entities and they will feed on your energy therefore making you weak,sickly at times etc, so also during magical workings it is good to put a shield around you , I prefer Aura shield because it is really strong .

It is extremely difficult to describe energy in magic.Strictly speaking, energy is movement.For instance, if you pick up a stone from the ground,an amount of energy is used by your body.That is "heat energy".If you then drop the stone, the same amount of energy "pulls" the stone to the ground. That's "gravitational" energy. The example given above, of using Tarot cards. Each time you pick up a card, and put it down, you are using energy of different types; heat energy (from your body), kinetic energy (by moving the cards), and gravitational energy (as you place each card). Now, energy can be measured,very often we "feel" it, as heat. So, when dealing cards, Tarot cards or playing cards, it is quite possible to feel the "heat" of energy in the hands and fingers.
I have used dowsing for many years. And again,it is difficult to describe the energy being used; kinetic energy,heat energy, gravitational energy, and magnetic energy (Between the rods and the Earth's magnetic field).
So, you cannot destroy energy, or create it. But you can change it, and "waste" it.(As you lose heat from your body).
Energy is a very complicated subject. To really understand it, you would need to study Thermodynamics. But don't worry about it; energy is in everything; in you and around you; and everything that moves is using energy, whether it is raindrops running down a window pane, or throwing a ball.

Brysing. Thank you! I've often confused myself with what I should be feeling. Some say tingles, others say "a pins and needles" affect... I've always just felt heat and that makes sense now. Good to know.

Actually to a degree I have to agree with brysing it depends on what you are doing and how you are doing it as to how you will feel it and the amount of concentration your useing while doing it . the pins and needles feeling you've been told about is very similar to a subject called direct magic which is said to help you draw energy from spirits or ethreal beings to assist you in magic. If this is what you are aiming for you should be able to basically be able to walk the sensation of pin and needles throughout your body or all over your body it is said to be a form of energy manipulation. If that's your goal feel free to mail me and I can be more specific about it . but if it's not than brysing is dead on energy is everywhere and in every action !

Energy is everywhere

I think I know what you are trying to say. I feel like energy is being directed to a certain point in my body (namely the heart) when I am trying to do any powerful energy work, before it gets directed outward. I learned this is not a particularly a good thing, as it started causing heart palpitations for me. It is best to try to keep it spread throughout the body than allowing it to collect too much in one place.
