Satan

Hi... I've been wondering that what is Father Satan's true name. I worship Satan because he is a good god and he has helped me a lot, but I want to know what is his real name because doesn't Satan mean "adversary"? The thing is that Father Satan is a god who got demonized and then when he got demonized he was called "HaSatan".

No. Satan is not the same as Lucifer. Lucifer is the Roman god of the morning star, and Satan is just Ha-Satan, which is some god that got demonized.

From what I know, he goes by Lucifer, Satan, Samael, and many other names.

Look it up in the Bible you should find the answer about Satan there, also most things you do here are in contradiction to the Bible, which is most hilarious. I laugh at people's insolence.

Satan was originally a Hebrew term. It was a title not a name, as are most names such as Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, etc. They are titles that many sentient beings end up standing in the role of. Even Eliphas Levi (an Ex-Catholic Priest that moonlighted as a Ceremonial Magician) brings this up in one of his many books (I'm sorry I can't recall the exact one).

Satan meant adversary but more specifically, in Jewish myth, the one with the title was the one that created yetzer hara, which basically means temptation or an urge toward evil. Yetzer hatov was the good acts inspiration. Yahweh had the yetzer hara used in a way to test and teach and the one that did this was so titled Satan. But Christianity comes in and claims Satan is sentient and that's his name. Satanists jump on this bandwagon and here we are.

So your "Father" is a mystery. You need to figure out for yourself who it is you have been working with. Sit down and meditate on it and maybe you'll get clues that point you in a better direction. For all you know it is Pan, Cernunnos, or the general "Ol' Horney One" that witches so lovingly call Him. That is the "Horned One" aka "Lord" of the "Lord and Lady" gender duality of Deity. As a type of spirit they can be associated with satyrs more so than "demon".

You don't believe in the bible but you believe in Satan, seems odd to me. He's been given many names, Lucifer is a fallen angel some view became Satan. If I were you, I would just ask him. If you have a relationship, he should tell you.

@WhiteRav3n.

Yeah, I worship the one that has the title of "Ha-Satan" and Lucifer. They are both different. Lucifer is a Roman god of the morning star.

But I wonder that which god is "Ha-Satan"... The one that got demonized and then called "adversary"...

I thought that Ha-Satan is Enki...

You're reading too many satanist websites and not enough theological and historical studies. Samael I can somewhat understand due to the similarities in stories and symbolism but Enki is a whole other ballpark. There are plenty of non-Christian scholars out there gathering information about early civilization and making the information public. It's just a matter of doing the research. Enki is not at all connected to the Hebrew Satan. Just like Set of Egypt isn't. Some spiritual satanists worship Enki or Set as their "satan" because, like I said, it's a title applied not an individual being. Replace the word "satan" with "deity" or "angel" and you'll see what I mean.

Read the Tanakh (Jewish bible) not the Christian Bible to understand what being Satan is about. It isn't evil. It is merely a rough job. As I said, Christianity changed it, then Satanism expanded on it. It's sad how few people have actually read the Tanakh. I find it way more enjoyable then the Christian Old and New Testament.

Have you ever played "telephone" as a kid? That's what happened with poor Satan. Humans played telephone in different languages (to top it off) and have twisted the original meaning beyond recognition.
