Properties of coriander?

Hello, I'm new here, my name is Raven and I'm 22 years old. Having been with my boyfriend for about 6 years now, we're deciding on getting married , not now though like in 2 years(at least). Anyways, the thing is that my parents are traditional Persian parents and he would have to ask for my hand from my father before we can decide to do anything. I really love him but I'm not sure if my dad would accept my marriage to him. He doesn't know about him. I looked up the 4 winds wishing spell on Youtube and I want to perform this spell so that my dad can accept him. However, I need a herb for this spell and I'm not sure what to use. I was thinking of using Coriander but I'm not sure if it's suitable for this sort of wish. I looked it up and it has to do with love and masculinity. However, I'm not sure if it's suitable for my wish. Thanks alot!

cilantro and basil are often associated with a peaceful happy loving home.

be sure to whisper your intentions to the herbs as you are about to use them to charge them with your intent and tell them what to do and why you need their help.

even better if you can gather the herbs yourself and make those intentions known to the plant.

Blessings to you, I hope you have a wonderful and happy marriage and a joyous family life!

Coriander, from my research is known to promote peace along those who are unable to get along, but Coriander is commonly used with love. You may add this to a love charm or spell to bring romance are use in a ritual to ease broken love affairs. However, this spell, which I know, is more of a wish spell. As Sage is commonly used for protection, one should know all of it's uses and wishing is one of them. You could write your wish on a sage leaf and place it under your pillow for three nights. If the wish is dreamt about, then it will come true. If not, you shoudl bury the leaf in the ground should no bad come to you. My best bet is to use Sage for wishing, Yarrow Flower, Chamomile, or even Roses for love like energies. If you wish to, you could also meditate, thinking of your wish while lighting Sandalwood incense, with the intention of your wish coming true, that your father will accept him, but hey, you never know. Maybe you won't need a spell or anything so your father may accept him. I think you should confront him about the matter first before you add magick into the equation.

If you need more herbal correspondences, then themagicalcat.com has an excellent herbal grimore, and I hope I was able to help.

Personally I would use oats, wheat and barley. You can look into their separate meanings if you wish, as they all do fit into the theme of your wish. Remember you are not trying to influence your father but your future. Visualize your marriage and your father smiling at the ceremony. Feel the happiness and imagine you are living it as you cast your grain. Grain is typically seen in marriage traditions and would be a suitable sympathetic magic tool to link your wish spell with your future marriage. Be sure to use the same grain in your marriage tradition, whether it be them showering you with it after your wedding or baked into a bread served at the reception.

Congratulations on finding love. No matter what occurs, you have a wonderful thing many want and that is something to be thankful for. I would consider pairing your wish spell with an offering as a thank you to whoever blessed you with your beautiful relationship. It is always important that when we ask, we don't forget to be grateful of what we have and what we are given.
