I wouldn't go telling your Baptist/Christians friends about it. But yes, you can. It all depends on whether it feels right to you. I could go on into the religion and how it has no rules against magick, in fact it's filled with it. But truly those reasons have been written by me and countless others all over this board. Just use the google search on the top of this page and type in "Christian" or "Christianity" and you'll find a load of info on the subject.

Yes ofcaurse you can... You don't go against your religion if that's what you mean..... It depens what you do when using magick ofcaurse... If your spells harm none there is no problem... You are free to believe in different things...

Also witchcraft is not a religion... It's an art... You can use it... It doesn't matter in what you believe.... I think that magic never ignored any religion... Magick is base on faith... Whatever this faith might be.... But first of all faith to your own self...

MonicaWolf, you are making the mistake of many! Witchcraft is a religion; it is magic that is not! Magic is used every morning by Catholic priests when they say Mass. Any religion may, and does, believe in magic. But that is not witchcraft.

Actually I'm with MonicaWolf on that. Witchraft is first and formost a craft. Yes it can be intergrained into religious beliefs easily depending on the religion in question. Granted there are a great many who cannot separate the two but that is their way. It shouldn't take from the fact that witchcraft is an art.

Witchcraft is a craft, essentially the use of magic. Wiccan is a religion that is largely based in the use of witchcraft.
