Invisiable

Why is it when people ask a question they are ignore? A question that is not asked is a dumb question but when a question is asked should it not be answered?

As far as chat goes. I will not be on it anymore for I am ignored there as well. It is sad when someone new comes on and is willing to learn and also give what she has learned and she is ignore. I must be invisiable to everyone.

Thank you to all.

Discrimination
By:
It is unfair how a lot of people are treated on this website. For people who discovered magic, I would think they'd be more open-minded. Instead, we have people screaming "fluffy!" at the merest mention of something they disagree with. For example, there is more than one person on this website who, no matter what people tell them, claim to be a vampire (though I do not necessarily agree with them) and all anybody does is harass them. I actually tried to have a logical discussion that just happened to relate to Harry Potter, and NOBODY did anything but tell me the book was fictional and completely ignored the topic of my post. This blatant discrimination, to me, sounds exactly like racism and needs to end.

The people in the chat are not actually resident in Spells of Magick. We do not have a policy, nor any duties, apart from chatter rules, on how to respond to people. It is not a democratic service provided by the government. It is a website. No one is obliged to answer your question. We are individuals. So, it is somewhat mistaken to make remarks about the whole chatter as if it were a solid unit. We are all members, and will respond to an individual AS an individual.

If you have an issue with a particular individual, you could approach them in mail. If you feel ignored, then you could learn to assert yourself better. Otherwise, we have all at some point found ourselves lost in the natural flow of the chatter. That is how real life group conversation is. So, I think the whole thing is a good, true to life, experience.

I will add, that it does take some time to get the hang of it, and to find a place within the experience that you will come to enjoy. :)

I agree with you Zeb and i do not mean to ignore people but when chat is packed and 10 topics are going on at once, its hard to answer everyone's questions. We do have mail on this site and if you want an answer to a question, mail someone. I agree sometimes we get short tempered and a little rude but usually the person we are being rude to has been told an answer, disagrees with it, and keeps pushing.

It is ok. Life still goes on if you have friends or not. That is what I am finding out.
I am who I am and I do have knowledge to share about life. It might be that I am to old for poeple to understand but that is okay to.
Life will keep going no matter what.
Now it is time for me to learn more about myself and keep moving forward as much as possible with an open mind about everything that life throws my way. No matter what it is.
