Looking for a Student

I teach Vampiric Shinto Wicca, and I am looking for a student who would love to learn how to worship the Kami and Onmai. I will take you as a student and you will be preapproved for the coven website (http://temple-of-nyx.socialgo.com) which I am the Ko Shisai(High priestess) of.

In interested in how you define Vampiric Shinto, and how the Wicca and Shinto work together in this setting? It seems quite eclectic.

Also, your use of "shisai" for priest is interesting, as it implies the Christian kind. Shinkan is the word for a Shinto priest.

You know what I'm wondering the same. Not that there is nothing wrong with creating your own path, but one that doesn't include an oxymoron in its name might draw more attention.

Something that baffled me during my few minutes of belonging to that website, was the unusual amount of references to the fictitious "House of Night" series.

They say that the coven isn't based off those books, but the ranking system, and the classes are all the same.
It a little unsettling how you give no credit to the author that you clearly have used material from.

And personally, sense Nyx is not the goddess of vampires (like the books say), so making it mandatory that students learn about vampires in order to stay in the coven in my opinion, is a tad bit irrational. But those are just my comments.

I must add that all the classes are not the same as the 'House of Night' series, we never ever did say that Nyx is the goddess of vampires, however we did say that most vampires worship her. Also, the ranking P.C and Kristin Cast use in the 'House of Night' series is based on actual rankings, not fictional ones, So we would of used them anyway. The Temple of Nyx is a coven to help others learn more about Nyx, magick and many more things.

Fair enough, but I do suggest changing the name of the required class, "Vamp. Sociology 101" to something a bit more original, as it is originally used in those books. :)

You mean to tell me that qualified people to teach Vampire Sociology 101 exist in the world? You mean to tell me I have been blowing $17 a pop for every movie I've seen at the movie theater for the past 10 years, when I could have gone to their site for free??

Gah! Why weren't we told about this earlier?
