I am going to kill two birds with one stone here. Is it important to cast a circle when using a spell, And skyclad. I know what it is but why? Is there reasons for doing it and is it important?

both are personal choices or directed by your coven..personally, i only cast a circle when what i am working on requires a lot of power and/or is the kind of thing that draws negative attention and i need protection while working.

as far as skyclad, it is "supposed" to be practiced as such to place you closer to nature and natural energies..that's it in a nutshell.

again, both are up to the individual or their coven.

So as a solitary practitioner i do not have to cast a circle. Thanks. I do like what you said about using it for protection or to help in energy. When i get to the point where i am more advanced in my ability's ill keep the circle in mind.

I always cast a circle, unless what I'm doing has no circles casting in it's tradition. Circles are good to keep yourself protected, but if you feel your not going to have any negative forces around you (or your strong enough to keep them at bay) there is no need for a circle

Some rituals that are more advanced/mature in nature might require skyclad. it's all dependent on what you are doing and how comfortable you are with it.

circle casting like said is not a necessity if you feel you don't need to do it ..however a simple way is to visualize a circle of white light around yourself that no one can enter unless invited to.

Sky clad is a personal choice ..however I feel that we should hold no inhabitations when calling on our deities and being closer to nature.

As the late Anton Szandor Lavey said, 'Why protect yourself from the very things you are asking for help from?'.

But, then again, as he is dead, maybe from a backfiring spell, perhaps best to not take any notice of him.

Mr. Lavey poses a very good point. ;)
