Unexplainable dream
By: / Knowledgeable
I can usually interpret my own dreams but this one has me puzzled: I dreamt of an old Town...it was obvious that it was old and rich because the street road was made out of rocks and so were the walls of the houses. The houses were big and mighty, there were also shops all over the town but no one was there. It looked like a very prosperous city but the streets were empty except for this one street. Anyway, I woke up dressed in nothing but a black towel and I felt extremely fatigued almost like I was wounded but I wasn't...So I looked around and noticed that street with people and started walking downhill through the street. I was walking so weird as if I was dragging something really heavy. I kept putting only my left leg in front and dragging my right leg behind. There were gypsy witches trying to get me to read my future but I ignored them and kept on walking. I was holding my towel with one hand and pushing away the annoying psychics with the other. I had no goal I just kept on walking and walking until I woke up. It's almost as if the dream was telling me that I have no goal and I will wonder around like that... always struggling and poor aimlessly. But I DO have a goal in life and I am working hard to reach it so this really got me puzzled...I will accept any kind of help =)
Thank you and blessed be!

fatigue is usually a sign of a worn out relationship of some kind, could be between you and an idea or you and another person. a towel used to cover yourself is symbolic of a need to deal with an issue or an emotion that you have been repressing or procrastinating. the color black can symbolize the unknown or the unconscious, but can also be a symbol of danger or the emotion of hate or malice.
to dream that a leg is wounded or deficient is a sign of imbalance in the navigation of your life, and the right side of your body has overtones of the conscious mind.
an empty market is a symbol of having your means exhausted, or being emotionally drained or depressed.
a gypsy, especially ones so forcefully trying to tell your future, are subconscious means of telling you to look towards the future.

it sounds to me like you may have an idea of what you are doing and the paradigm may have you crippled, like you are not looking at your options from all angles, and you may be actually holding yourself back. the dream doesn't seem to be saying you have no goal, but more so the aimless wandering is an indicator that this issue that has left you unbalanced in some way will not resolve itself but demands your attention.

That is a very good explanation Arca...did you interpret this using symbolism or your own instinct? I appreciate it a lot and thank you!

no problem. once you have heard a lot of dreams being interpreted it kind of comes as second nature. its not as much what the dream was about as it is what the person who had the dream chooses to tell you. or what their subconscious remembers. there are certain symbols also. thats why i tried to write the symbolism then make an interpretation. hope it helped:)
