Witchstones

I'm curious...who on here has heard of Witch Stones?
Have you ever used them? Did you make them yourself or just buy a premade set? Did you just stick to the traditional symbols or did you add your own?
Don't worry, I'll answer my own questions ;).
I learned about Witch Stones when I was looking for Wicca books for my Kindle Fire--there was a book on them by Wendy Trevennor. I got the book and read it. Shortly after, I took my woodcarving set and busied myself making my own Witch Stones. I used the standard symbols plus a couple of the author's symbols and added four of my own. I have 24 Witch Stones in total...all handmade. I did use them, of course. I did my first reading with them on Samhain, of all days!

Are you referring to the runes?

I'm sorry, I should have clarified which ones I'm talking about. the Futhark runes, I mean.

I have never heard of them, but then again, I'm fairly new. I have looked into runes a bit and would like to try them, this sounds similar.

Witchstones aren't the same as the runes...they are a set of symbols representing the ideas behind the eight Sabbats, the five elements and whatever else you wish to add.

Is it the witch runes are used for divination
purposes,that consist of sun,
moon, crossed spears, black rune, wave,
ear of corn, rings and the birds?
