Replacement 4 a candle?
By:
hey,
there is a spell that im pretty interested in preforming but the trouble is that I need to use a candle to burn it but the catch is that im not allowed to burn candles, incense and such because my parents hate that sort of thing.
So I was wondering if theres anything that I could use to replace the candle with?
thank you

You can substitute almost any ingredient. Use something else that the candle is used for. For instance if it required as representation of something, find something else that fits their description. God and Goddess candles can be substituted using something else standing for them

I find that if I cannot burn anything, I switch it for something else quite easily.

A candle can be replaced with an electric one, or even a photograph or an app candle if you want to get technological.

If you are calling elements or need a representation for air (where normally incense would be used), a feather can be used instead.

Well you can use a variety of things to represent the fire element, but if you need to use fire to burn something, you could just swap it for another element. Depending on the spell you can find a good second, for water you could place the item in running water [like a river but if it's something like paper you could put it down the drain] air you could scatter the item on a windy day, and earth bury the object [if it's attracting somethin to you bury it on your property, if you're sending something away bury the object off property]
