That is because it is. Immortality to a physical body is impossible, because we are already immortal spirits. As quoted by many energy workers, the buddhists...
"We are not humans having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience."
If our physical bodies never expired, we would never be able to learn. If we were always in a world of glamor, we would not know how it truly feels to be a starving child in a third-world country. Death has as much purpose as life.
Our physical bodies will age, wear down, and die. That is the nature of things. It is impossible for our bodies to be immortal-they are not built for that.
Interetingly enough, however, in the science community they are currently doing research on what causes the aging of our bodies (exactly). They've been studying a jellyfish known as "The Immortal Jellyfish", so called this because when it ages and grows old it can revert back into ist young pupa stage. Interesting stuff!

That immortality is physically impossible is a Right-hand path belief. In many LHP religions (Satanism and Enkism mostly) it is actually the goal.
To say anything you do not know is possible or not possible what so ever, forever, or have ever been possible is a fact is pure arrogance. I dont know everything and I dont pretend to, if you know everything please chime in and tell us the secret to everything. But untill you do know everything please dont just say something is imposible and thats a fact. Because you could be proven wrong tomarrow.

They say you can't be immortal because as of now, you can't. It's not the future. It's the present and so far, it is completely impossible to be immortal.
Void, you seem to not understand what the definition of impossible is. Something that is impossible is something that *currently* goes against defined and proven laws, disregarding facts and theories, and otherwise is neither logical nor probable. Key word being current. So I feel confident in saying something is impossible. And until I'm proven wrong, I will continue to call it thus.
