A few people have recently asked me about herbs and foods to help gain weight. Below is one that I have found that increases the appetite. *Denotes that it is reccomended for that specific use.

Brewers Yeast : A cingle cell plant without chlorophyll.

Uses: Fatigue*, Stress* , Depression*, Bad temper*, Slow growth*, anemia, Diabetes, acne, heart palpitations*, beri-beri, gastric ailments, memory, weak muscles, hair loss, mouth sores, breathlessness, schizophrenia*, gray hair, kidney stones, longevity*, sun sensitivity to sunlight, brittle nails, mental agility, bed wetting, asthma, Improve appetite**, metabolism, Insomnia*, irritated eyes, high cholesterol, and headaches

Notes: it has vitamines B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B15, paba, folic acid, biotin, choline, inositol, iron. selenium, phosphorous, zinc, potassium, copper, magnesium. calcium, chromium and 17+ amino acids. It is a total protien.

Cautions: Excess yeast can cause high uric acids. High doses require extra calcium to be taken. For high doses and allergies make sure to increase slowly.
