Probability

I've heard alot of people on this site complaining about how they tryed a spell and it didn't work and how the spell has to be a dud, and that its just a stupid spell that won't work, and blah blah blah blah blah. Listen, the truth is that magick does not come from mumbling words and burning incense and what have you, magick comes from within, from you focusing your mind and your will to create a desired effect in the physical world. This being said, chants, incense, tools, etc are all only meant to help one focus their mind and their will. Now that we've got what magick is down, we can move on to how it works. Magick does work as a certainty, if you cast a rain spell there is no certainty it will work. There is a chance it might. Magick, therefore is all about tipping the scales so that theres a great probability of your desired outcome occuring. However, while you can tip the scales in your favor and be reasonably sure of the outcome, you cannot ever be certain of what will come to pass.

Another cause of complaints is that many members of this site want immediate results. They do not really know how to cast a spell. They are not prepared to study, to read, to practice, to learn. Just like babies, they want it NOW!

"It's my magick, and I want it NOW!" lol
I agree, magick isn't an instant thing, the fastest spell I've ever done took around 24 hours to take effect, as I've found do most spells.

People also seem to want Magic to be the stuff of fantasy. But I guess it's easy to confuse historical lore and research thereof with watching a movie or otherwise exploring science fiction...

Yeah...that was sarcasm.
