Colors?

Whenever I'm meditating or imagining my color I always imagine the color purple . . . but one time i was imagining a ball of light coming out of my hand and I saw it was being a gold/white color instead of the usual purple i see. What does it mean?

As this activity is a mental one the first thought that occurs to me as because you were trying to visualize light and most light sources emit white light that you simply saw a corresponding color to the activity you were performing rather than the normal purple which appears because you consciously think purple. If there is a magickal significance you could always look up color meanings such as white is related to purity and often neutrality in practicing magick.
