honey jar on Fire!

hi everyone

i was burning a candle on top of my honey jar today and the top of the jar was on fire it was scary i almost wanted to throw water on it!!!

i always leave the left over metal parts of the candle and the wiks on the jar because i read somewhere that i shouldnt touch them and tonight when my candle burnt i heard some crackling noised and some whote sparkles where flying and making poping sounds then the flame got soo big because it attached itself to all the left over wiks and to the metal remains of previous candles. the flame got so high and big that i was almost gonna throw water on it....i didnt...i just kept watching it as it ate up all the wax that was built on my jar then it died.so now the top of my jar has no wax on it anymore because that huge flame devoured it!

does anyone know what this means? is it a good sign ?
all opinions and comments are appreciated

thank youuu

im glad to see you posting again Cleo and I hope things are going well for you.

I wouldn't worry about the high flames. It could be a good sign, or just that there was a lot to burn on top of the jar.

This link from mojonet has some ways to interpret candle results. You may find it useful.

crackling means the spirits are pleading strongly for your case. The louder the sounds the more opposition/conflict

a very high flame and lots of fire indicates a lot of energy and that things will be moving quickly

that's according to hoodoo tradition, which is honeyjar

keep us updated Cleo...Im so pulling for you!!

I was performing a spell near a salt shaker once and gt fell and spilled salt into my burning candle and the same thing you described happened and i had to put it in the sink to put it out before it set off the smoke alarm. Honey jars are a funny thing to me. Everyone tells you to do it differently. I try not to ask too many questions about it over a month into it. Has it been a full moon cycle now? I think it has. Probly the same day that happened. No?

I'd take it as a good sign. Passion...lighting a fire under someone's tush, etc.
