In the Astral World?

I've seen how you get into the astral world, but whats in it? Can it be anything, or is it a reflection of this world? And I heard you could change into something else, like mythological things (mermaids for example) while in the astral world. Is it true?

Your true form (spirit) can be anything, so yes, you can be those things.
