Creation Theory?

I noticed that most religions have a creation theory...but I have not found one that is at the core of Wicca. Is there one? Or maybe one for the original forms of witchcraft?

When I was practicing wicca, my understanding of creation was that of creation being the result of a communion between the god and the goddess, simultaneously original and eternal. That is just a personal perspective. :)

Wicca was not meant to be a religion, it is a spirutual path... a way of life. It's just like whatever deities you worship, instead it's whatever theory you think makes sense. Same goes for everything else.

Pretty sure that wicca is a religion. What is your definition of religion? Also, spiritual path and religion are not mutually exclusive. :)

Yeah, I was gonna say....But Zebrah beat me to it xD I'm not sure what a Spiritual path is but I would think that every religion is a spiritual path along with whatever else it may be. And that not every spiritual path is a religion. Or something like that. @Zebrah. I think that your explanation of the creation theory prescribed by Wicca makes the most sense seeing as how the duality of nature is the central basis if it all. It makes sense. I guess its just not always as obvious since there is no "Wicca Book of Genesis"

I'm not Wiccan nor ever was, but from my understanding, they have more freedom for people to choose their own thoughts concerning creation. Since they are polytheistic the can choose their own "path" or cultural gods to follow or even science for that matter. But from a general viewpoint, most believe that it was a mating of Lord and Lady that creates all life, a joint effort. Almost every pagan myth includes a female "birthing" the earth and from that all life sprung on it. We are a product of Mother Nature/Gaia, our earth Mother.

Im not Wiccan either, but as far as I am aware, there is no known creation story of the Wiccan religion. As WhiteRav3n said, its more of a free path. :)

I saw a creation story on http://www.religioustolerance.org/witchcra.htm I don't believe there is a commonly accepted wiccan creation story but here's one.
