Questions about Honey Jar

I was just wondering how you know you're ready to try a spell? Also, do you have to use all of the ingredients listed in a specific spell? Or can I exchange some for other things that may symbolize something from that relationship? Specifically, I'd like to try the honey jar.

You should enver have to use all the ingredients, if you smap them for things more meaningful for you and for those that have the same magickal proporties as those from the original spell you can often make it more effective.

When you say things that have the same properties, how would I know that? I'm still trying to gather all the information I can about casting spells, I haven't actually tried it yet.

Stones and crystals have many magickal proporties you can get books and read online articles about the uses.

Herbs also have magickal proporties that can be learned, once again through books and articles. With herbs though you should always know their dangers before using them.

A great book for herbs and plants is Scott Cunninghams - Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs.

Other than that just keep reading about correspondenses, colours, plants, crystals, symbols etc. They can help you in spells, rituals and worship if you wish to.
