Unusual Scar
By: / Beginner
I feel silly posting this but that's what these forums are for I guess. Well to make a long story short I discovered an odd 1-2inch cut on my back and due to its unique placement I used my cell camera's light to view it. During this I noticed an unusual scar that without the light I wouldn't have been able to see. I have some barely visible weight loss related scarring and this looks like the others, except it looks like an oddly shaped trident/pitchfork. The outer points are formed by a U shape like you see in 3 pronged pitchforks and the inward point goes downward forming a handle as usual, yet after a pause it curves back upward to the right in almost a serpent/dragon tail like fashion. Seems like a odd random stretch mark yet I do believe in coincidence nor am I superstitious by nature, so it's probably just an odd natural event. Just felt like I'd get some feedback, so anyone ever had a odd mark like this pop up or anything?

I have a scar that is very similar to that which appeared after I slammed my face into a wall whilst naked and a glass painting fell on my foot. It nearly chopped off my little toe. That toe occasionally loses consciousness and turns purplish grey. I feel that its true essence retracts into the astral plane like I should upon death, and continuously fades in and out of being in this plane of existence.

They probably mean that they lose all feeling in their toe, like its fallen asleep as limps can do. Sounds like they need to see a doctor.

You're right, Wind_Kitsune. The change in color and numbness is due to a lack of blood flow. BDawg seriously needs to see a doctor, and the sooner it happens, the better. The toe could literally die where it is, and result in gangrene, and require amputation of the foot. Or worse, it could cause sepsis, and possibly death if it is not taken care of.

If it's an actual scar, sometimes if it was cut in an unorthodox manner a keloid can form and cause distortion of the skin.

It's the discoloration along with the toe's supposed loss of consciousness, which reads like intermittent numbness, corresponding with both not being constant, which concerns me.
