How do glamour spells work? I was looking at some of the spells for beauty smooth skin and that kind of thing. Can they realy help to grow longer hair or make you prettier?I didnt think magic can change you physically so I just dont know how they work. C:

I do not believe it necessary to use spells to make yourself prettier or anything of the sort, you should love yourself how you are and not try to change how you look. As for Glamour Spells, I am quite sorry to tell you that no spell can change your appearence physically, grow hair, or obtain perfect skin. You should be looking at more mundane methods rather than spiritual ones when it comes to this, try using vitamins or natural remedies to achieve a clearer complexion or obtain healthier hair. Magick cannot solve these types of situations.

This is an a post I wrote in a silly manner about how I view Glamor magic and an introduction to practicing it. It's actually really simple, but I warn for mature language near the end.

In my experience, glamour spells change the way you see yourself in a psychological way, until you start to believe what you say. The law of attraction is a big part of glamour. Positive and negative thoughts can physically change water molecules (humans are 60-80% water) becuase emotions are a release of chemicals and whatnot, so when we release positive thoughts, they influence our emotions, psychology, and physicality.

Glamour Magic is more using energy to create an "illusion" or a "glamour" to be viewed a certain way or perceived in a different way as opposed to spell use.

I think what Myrala shared is a great article and if you're interested in truly learning Glamour Magic, I'd suggest giving it a read.
