Herbs for Exams
By:
I'm doing my exams and so I was wondering if there are any herbs which can relieve both stress whilst help aid concentration. Also, what herbal teas are best to drink to go to sleep easier?
Thank you for any responses. Blessed be!

Well, I won't recommend any teas to aid in concentration as I'm not so certain in that area yet, but for calming (sleep inducing) teas, use lavender, lemon balm, chamomile or peppermint as far as I know. Make sure you're not allergic to any of these herbs before use!

For concentration and memory I'd reccomend Bee balm, rosemary, and anything citrusy. Thyme can increase psychic energy so that may also help

Even just the aroma of rosemary improves memory and energizes. Do well on the exams. :)

Using essential oils of Rosemary, Clove, Sweet Orange, and/or Basil in an oil diffuser wile studying can help increase your cognitive abilities. I also suggest using a small piece of cloth or a hanky with some of the same oils you used while studying as an aid during the test or at least on the way there. Eyebrite tea can help improve memory as well as consuming Rosemary and Basil through cooking.

For aid with sleep I suggest using a Lavender and Frankincense essential message oil on the face, front and back or the neck, as well as shoulders just before bed. You can also drink tea just before bed that contains Valerian as well as the other herbs mention above. There are several sleepy time teas that contain Valerian that can be found at most local markets.
