Tulpas and Tarot Cards?
By: / Beginner
So, I have a question about Tulpas that I'd rather post here than in the actual Tulpa community (since they tend to see it as a psychological phenomenon).

Anyways, is it possible to use the tarot cards to communicate with a tulpa?

I'm already making mine, and although I enjoy talking to him, parroting occasionally, etc., do you think tulpas in general can communicate through tarot cards

Yes and no. Tarot Cards are used for divination, not really spirit talking. Although a spirit or tulpas can manipulate the cards, because each card holds specific meaning to the reader, it's unclear or unknowable if that sheer force of will and yourself have the same idea about which cards mean what. You can, go with the author's meaning, or the Rider-Waite translation, but in my experience the meanings always come across as forced. And forced readings, in my experience, always fall apart when asking specific questions. Like getting repetitive answers or even contradicting answers. Maybe this method will work for you. Just know what you're getting into. You might be being misled because of the way you interpret your cards.

From what little I was able to find on Tulpas, it is a psychological phenominon originating in Tibet. I do not understand the question. Are you saying Tarot is all in the mind as well?

Oh, darn.

And no, I'm not saying tarot is in the mind. And there are two ways to look at tulpa. I don't look at them in a psychological way, but in a metaphysical way. Well, both.

Blah.

*ahem* Anyways, thanks for the replies!

Thank you for posting this. I had never heard of them before and now I am learning about something new to me. :-)

You should be able to just talk to your Tulpa to communicate. When you get a response from them, it should sound like a voice in your head.
