What type of wiccan am I?

I've always been wondering this myself.. What type of wiccan am I? I worship the goddess diana, and the god cernunnos. Diana is the goddess of the moon and magic, and cernunnos is the god of life, death, rebirth, and the sun. (I know that there is much more that they are gods and goddesses of, I just can't seem to remember them all at the moment.) I pray to them every day as best as I can and give praise to them. (Since I don't have an altar. :( ) And the type of magic and methods I specialize in is the art of healing magic and grounding. I believe that all nature is sacred, and should be treated as such. I have alot more that I have to learn. Just have to keep reading amd studying the craft diligently, and praise the gods for each day that i'm alive on this small blue marble. :)

You sound like an ecclectic/Neo-Wiccan to me.

Maybe ecletic, but I really don't like the term neo wiccan. I consider myself kind of a mix between a traditional/ecletic wiccan. I'm a full wiccan in heart, soul, and spirit. I worship cernunnos (often called the horned god/horned one) who is the god of life death, rebirth, nature, and the sun, and protector of all wicca, and diana, who is the goddess of all magic, the hunt, and the moon, and the protectress of all wicca. The first thing that set me off down my path was scott cunninghams book of shadows. That is what stirred the desire to be wiccan in my heart, And that is the type of wicca I follow. :) I guess i'm ecletic then.

I don't claim to be an expert on the subject, but, traditional wicca, I believe denotes an origin to gardner who started or helped start the wiccan religion. Supposedly the traditional path is a bit different than the eclectic path. Can't really say though as I'm an eclectic pagan. One of the older members would know for sure, brysing perhaps.

After doing alot of thorough research about what type of wiccan I am, I have come to a conclusion. I am a ecletic wiccan, with some celtic wiccan influences in there as well. It took alittle bit, but I finally found out my type. For all those who replied, suggesting the types that I might be, I thank you. You got the gears in my brain turning, and motivated me to find out what type of wiccan I was. Blessed be everyone.

The problem with Wicca is that there are now so many different "branches", off-shoots, of Wicca. The traditional Wicca is that of Gerald Gardner and Doreen Valiente.A few changes were made by Alex Sanders. So, traditionally, most followers of Wicca now follow the Alexandrian Wicca. (From the city of Alexandria, not the name of Sanders!).
But, as I have said, most Wiccans these days are a mixture of many different beliefs. Even Scott Cunningham, apart from wanting Wicca to be more "open", did himself promote changes.
All religions tend to change over time; Wicca is no different. However, some do follow the original British Traditional Wicca; as does Lark on SoM.
I am not Wiccan, but I rather like the original than the many off-shoots!
But, as I have posted many times, you may believe anything you wish.
