I found this in a book I am currently reading. I would like to share it with you all.

"When starting to practice, be eager like a deer

Trapped in a pen seeking to get out.

In the middle be like a farmer during harvest,

Not waiting for anything.

In the end be like a shepherd who has

Brought the flock home. "

- Paltrul Rinpoche Sacred word

The book I am reading is

"How To See Your Self As You Really Are"

By His Holiness Dalai Lama

Awesome quote. Thanks for sharing

This is one of my favorites:

You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.
