Basically it is awakening your sub-conscious.
Sinc it controls you when you don't know it, if you can " wake it up " then people can give it directions that effects your conscious self.
- if you have sean inception then it is like that.

Or subliminal mesages can also " use your sub-conscious " to alter your thoughts and actions.

If misused it can have lasting effects!!!!

Hypnosis is only as affect as the person who is being hypnotized is willing to be placed under suggestion. So it works in varying degrees with different people.

I learnt to type by hypnosis. In a class of forty men and women. There were no letters on the keys. The lessons (there were only eight!) were geared to the word "now". The recorded voice would give the fingers (all marked with ink for each key any finger would hit) and give the letter. And it got quicker each lesson. It went like, "A,now! C,now! E,now! " and so on. By the last lesson everyone in the class was typing as though they had done it for years!
Hypnosis certainly is real.People have been able to do all sorts of things from being able to stop nailbiting to stopping smoking by a few visits to a hypnotist. And you can believe this, there are audio tapes on sale to hypnotise "calm and free from stress. And they do work! I've got one!

Further to the typing. The class was warned to keep practising what we had learnt, otherwise we could easily "lose" the skill.
