Hi I'm currently reading a book called Wiccapedia a modern-day white witches guide and in this there's a chapter that covers everything from casting spells through text messaging to harnessing the power of your computer booting up to increase the power of a spell to using a microwave as aposed to a coldron for potion spells. I'm just curious if anyone has tried any of this and would like to hear your thoughts and experiences with any of this. looking forward to reading what you all think.

I know that texting spells is a thing, there's also an off shoot of that that uses emoji to cast a spell.
The microwave thing is basically the same idea as any other microwave cooking, so it might take some adjustments, but it should be solid.
There's also the old standbys of having an altar or shrine online. That saves room but lets you have a work space that can be altered to your needs or wants.
I think using technology in magick is completely practical.
I often use a stovetop or microwave to make food or drinks infused with magick. I have not used text messages to cast spells, but I have used people's Facebook profiles to direct spells at them when I have no other taglock, and it was effective.

On Tumblr, the word technomancy was thriving for a while, so you could look using that key word for more ideas and such (though it is used for practices more than just along the lines of divination).
The thing about magic is that it's all entirely subjective and it's incredibly easy to adapt literally anything to suit your practice. It's just a matter of personal preference and what works for you more often than not.
