Spells aren't really used to summon entities unless you might be preforming a ritual or working a spell that requires a certian entity. Not only that, but in my opinion, summoning is considered very rude. How do you think one would feel if they were just randomly dragged into a stranger's home without warning? Furthermore, when you invocate or "summon", you don't see them physically.
You'll want to invocate the entity instead. Call out to it, or offer it food, or a token of some sort. (Although this isn't mentioned in the sources below, it's often a polite guesture.)
As Reginleif mentioned, you need a ritual to summon a Genie. I wouldn't advice to use spells that claim to summon Djin...
About a couple of yeas ago, I was searching a lot for spells, I remember I found two spells that were giving "instructions" on how to summon a Djin. After a couple of years, with the knowledge I have gotten I realized the spells were Completely fake...
An extremely easy way that even a beginner is able to use and successfully summon, is through the use of an a Ouija board.
Also! I have to disagree wih Reginleif that summoning is rude. This cleary depends on the Djin or any entity, and the personality itself..it's a matter of preference. Also, no Demon comes when you call them if they do not want it. It's not mandatory for the Demon to be there only because you want to and trying to communicate. Demons answer human summons only if they desire, so I don't think it can be considered rude...
So the individual who lives in the house will Call for the stranger to come in to the house..however it depends on the stranger's will if they're going to accept the invitation.
A nice action you could do is offering something to the entity when you summon it. To show your willingness and kindness. :)
