Mantras v Spells

1st off a mantra is sanskrit for a chant. Sanskrit mantras work based on sound frequency to vibrate a certain way and cause a a desired outcome with little meditation necessary.

2ndly a spell is a written array of words (can be any language) put together sometimes in prayer form so it may be meditated on and cause a change in the physical world.

So what's the biggie? Does it really matter what method you use? Most new age magicians say do what works for you. I say try something new!

When I was younger I would scavenge the Internet for spells that work but there was either stuff I couldn't get for the spell, or they were fake or just not what I needed really. I didn't even know how important meditation on the spell was!!!
To make it worse, supposed high experienced mages don't like helping!!! Some newbies wanted help and we're made fun of including me :/

So what this got to do with mantras? Easy, you don't need spells. Why? Because mantras are basically spells but without tons of meditation or ritual. Mantras were made by ancient sages and mages who practiced them and have been used for 1000s

Of years! Spells are more like affirmations that you meditate on to have them affect your subconscious. Mantras need that to but less because they vibrate through into your subconscious. And there many mantras for pretty much anything you can name, even snake bites hehe.

Spells are helpful, but I prefer affirmations when i cant find a mantra. Affirmations are intended for you to believe it as already true not as in a future notion which is incorrect use in magical terms.
Just don't let yourself be limited by what some people say that they have real spells or whatever lie they tell you for whatever reason! Mantras are easily found on Google and yes I can give you some if you need any hehe
Blessed be!

I would never refuse to help a young beginner. Although it is almost impossible to teach magic on-line.After all, they would only be reading, and there are books. One needs to be actually shown magic; I was very lucky in that respect. The ones I would ignore are the 50 year old idiots who should know better; or the ones who refuse to learn!

I see where your getting at, but I think we must adapt because like most people my age we can't meet actual teachers because our parents or guardians won't permit such things. I finally met a teacher but he was dead but left his teachings behind so I learned online. He is a spiritual teacher to many like me and I've grown much but still have much to learn. What I want is to show is magic can be done differently than the way it's been taught, but just as effective as any magic. So excuse me if I offended you, my anger was speaking at the Moment because of arrogant mages who brought people like me down.

Oh,you didn't offend me! I was merely pointing out that I, as all other Mods, will try to help the ones willing to learn. But it can really only be done by trying to answer questions. We do appreciate the problems with families, and not being able to find a teacher. But is very difficult sometimes to separate the Chaff from the Wheat!
