What is it?
It is no different than real archery. It is a technique I have been crafting and practicing recently. It employs the same technique and practice as it's real counter-part: Stance, draw, aim, and release. It is intent-driven like any other magickal practise, requires no tools, and heavy visualization. So far the results are mixed, perfecting it will take time.
If you are not a real archer, I suggest starting out by watching some youtube videos. They will give you an idea of what you need to do when it comes to posture and technique.
Ground and center yourself. Focus on drawing your energy into your navel. You must be standing. Breathe and draw the energy from the crown of the head and the sole of the feet into the navel area. Once you feel the mass and surge of the collected energy, you are ready to begin the visualization process.
The trick is not to lose focus on the energy collected while visualizing the bow and arrow. This takes practise. Once the weapons are firmly in view, charge them with your emotion and intent. This may take a few minutes to fully achieve.
If you so desire, say the person's name and the intent of your arrow, what you want it to accomplish once it strikes the target. Put the arrow on the string. Bows are drawn from the waist, and brought up to be around cheek- level. I draw my real bow up a bit slower, a full breath to reach my cheek. The string is always pulled by the closest two fingers to the thumb, with the arrow in the middle of the fingers . The bow is at cheek-level so you can aim your arrow, much like aiming a rifle.
You can also say words such as where you wish it to go, who you want it to strike, and even use a spell-like saying to assist you, makes it more potent. Then, all you need do is release. Visualise the arrow flying to the target, and striking it. you are done, and await the results.
Note: Candles of corresponding colour will help in the use of this potent psychic weapon! Pink for love, etc.
So essentially, you are acting as cupid? I don't quite understand what is supposed to occur when the arrow strikes its target.
Using the eyes and a quick and strong push of emotion/intent has been used for ages to cast, well, typically what is best known as the evil eye. Weapons are generally seen as tools or focus to harm or pierce through defenses.
Your technique is very creative and I don't see why it wouldn't work if applied correctly for appropriate circumstances and goals. But how you are using it is my query.
I like the use of bow and arrows in spiritual practice. I forget the name, but there was a form of divination by drawling lots with different fortunes on different arrows. In a simpler form, there were white, gray, and black arrows. It also helps if one connects to a spirit or deity that is connected with archery.
I use a somewhat similar technique with energy. While I am doing work on an energetic level or on the astral plane I use various astral weapons for defense or for cutting karmic and etheric cords
This Technique is not simply a cupid means. It can be employed in other ways also. One can achieve many objectives in this manner. If one desired, they could use it to send messages to far away loved ones, connect with lost friends, even use it to repel people. Also, can be used to fend off attacks from a distance. The uses are only limited by the user. I would say that if a person only used it for the purpose of striking a potential lover's heart, that would pretty narrow-minded and short-term, a person who lacks creativity and vision to use such a potent and wonderful tool to it's full potential. I have been employing it to send messages, to find long-lost friends, etc.
And yes, Whiterav3n, it could be employed in a nefarious manner if that is one's intent. I personally have no need for such a weapon, I cast the Evil Eye without such aid. People know when I am displeased, and I make sure they sense this. I have been trying to locate lost friends, send messages and related things. Actually now I give it some thought, I could use it to sever cords I should have years ago to people that have exited my life that are still linked.
I like the way..and will practice it..but it's like psychic attack with archery It don't matter for good or bad..but it works like psychic attack right ??
Precisely, Star. It can be used to Ward off attacks, but can also be used to connect with others in any way you choose. I prefer archery because it is graceful in form and execution.
