New To Wicca
By:
My subject title is a little misleading. I personally are new to the practise of Wicca however my great grandmother was Wiccan and her mother before that and so on. The family tradition appears to have skipped a couple of generations with my mother and grandmother not seeming too fussed by it all. However, I wish to follow in my family's steps. The craft fascinates me and always has ever since i was a child being told all about it by my late great grandmother.

With her out of the picture, i am a little lost as to how to begin my wiccan journey and so if anybody is willing to help me out along my way it would be much appreciated.

Feel free to add me or talk to me at any point, I look forward to hearing from fellow people such as myself.

Felicity.

First of all, I must point out that Wicca is a modern religion which dates back no earlier than the 1940's. So it is highly unlikely that your great grandmother and her ancestors were Wiccan. They might have been Witches, but that's something else entirely.

I'd be happy to try to answer questions you might have on Wicca. A good starting place for information on Wicca can be found in the threads at http://www.spellsofmagic.com/read_post.html?post=580909

Thank you, I do have many questions as I haven't actually been told about anything since i was a child.
Maybe Wicca was not the correct term to use for her then. Like i said, I'm pretty new to all of this.
