candle divination

Anyone that knows anything about ceromancy. I just wanted/needed some advice. A couple times that I've done a spell the wax from the candle has melted right down the middle. Tunneling. Leaving like a shell behind I guess. They were both on love spells. Could it mean anything or be a sign? Or just poor quality candles. The latest one I've done melted right down to nothing , leaving no residue but part of the wick. Which I take as a good sign. So ive read.

What type of candles were they? 7-days, tapers, etc.?

Typically on a 7-day, that's a sign of obstacles.
