Coven?
By: / Beginner
I was walking by my local park and I went past a tree with an orange ribbon around it, tied TWICE, tight, and it said Red Pine. When I was coming back from my walk, the ribbon was ripped off. The wind was as still as a sleeping slug. Is it a coven? Did someone see me? etc.

There's not really a way to tell if that was a coven, and if so, if they had seen or taken interest in you. There are other ways to tell if there is a group of practitioners in an area, though they are typically obscure unless you are more open about your own practices. Even then, not all will approach you.

You could search witchvox.com and see if their is a coven in that area that is registered there. Perhaps you could also check your local occult shop and see if their are covens that go bt that name.

However, I'm going to venture out on a limb here and ask, what the tree a red pine that had the ribbion tied around it? Orange ribbions are typically used as markers either for trees, land boundaries, electrical wire, etc.

It probably had absolutely nothing to do with any coven. Covens rarely advertise themselves in any such open way. Much more something totally unrelated to anything magical.
