Make a fomentation of chamomile and feverfew if you begin experiencing an allergic reaction. Other than that, keep your immune system up with vitamin c, and garlic.

You might want to try eating horseradish regularly, but it probably doesn't taste very well.

Here is a website I have found giving a little information about some herbs and their uses pertaining to relief and prevention of allergies.

Rinse your nose with a saline solution. Its sold as a spray. Then use a cold air vaporizer at night to keep the stuff in the air down, also moisture for the nose. I have bad allergies too. If you do use over the counter meds, you need to rotate them every 3 days, or the body gets used to one and won't work anymore. If your nose is stuffed, smell an onion. It will make nose run and get rid of it out of your sinuses. Also a netty pot can be used to clean out sinus. I believe Walmart sells them, and the vaporizer too. Hope this helps. We people with allergies do suffer quite a bit. Out here, I alsdo have the dust to deal with. Oh such fun... Blessings...

I'm adding to the honey mention above. Try to find a local honey seller, someone in your area who is a bee charmer. Bees take pollen from the plants in your local area to make the honey, so eating that honey is like taking a shot of anybodies, helping your body handle the pollens, and such, in the air seasonally.

Plenty of vitamin C helps too, you could either buy organic pills of it, or eat fruits that contain it, such as bananas or oranges.

One remedy that's been passed down to me through generational testing is honey. Consuming 1 tablespoon of raw honey in the morning before breakfast each morning will help ease allergy symptoms, and over time eventually cure the allergies altogether. I'm not entirely sure why or how it works, but it's proven to be a fruitful endeavor with both my family and the family of friends.

Hope this helps, blessed be :)

I know this is an older post from the beginning of the year, but I've been told countless times and I've read countless times that consuming nettle tea can help with allergies. I've made some tea with nettle, but it was the most foul tasting thing I've drank, but sometimes it's the worst tasting things that work best.

For easy note:

1 table spoon nettle per 1 cup water. Simmer for 10 minutes, then put a lid over the pan and let steep for 5 minutes. Add honey or sweetener/sugar as desired.

It sounds like you have seasonal-plant allergies , and I know exactly how you feel. If I may suggest something completely different than a herbal remedy; ask your doctor about Immunotherapy . Talk to her/him about how unhappy you are with your current or past medication, mention that you have heard about Immunotherapy and talk about if it is right for you. They will refer you to a part of the hospital where you can begin, and give you an appointment.

The site below is a very simple read-up on what Immunotherapy is, and how it works. I urge you to please , talk to your doctor about it next time you have your yearly check up.

I hope this helps, Bastet bless your path!
