The Wiccan bible by Ann-Marie Gallagher, because I am thinking of buying it but I don't have a lot of money, is it good? I need lots of info, I'm also going out on a limb here cause my parents are a bit on edge about it and I need to know if I'm taking the risk, is it worth it? :) thanks and BB
It's not a book that I would personally recommend because I believe there are better books out there.

"The Heart of Wicca" by Ellen Cannon Reed
"Wicca: The Old Religion In the New Millennium" by Vivianne Crowley
"Deepening Witchcraft" by Grey Cat
"The Study of Witchcraft: A Guidebook to Advanced Wicca" by Deborah Lipp and Isaac Bonewits
"Wheel of the Year: Living the Magical Life" by Pauline Campanelli and Dan Campanelli

I think that should give anyone a good foundation in the history and practice of Wicca.
I did browse it a little in library and all the information is the same as in other books. If you find books about wicca which are cheaper and contain like same thing, buy them, not The Wiccan Bible... I find it kind of stupid to name your book like that, I mean The Bible is the Christianity book, and Wiccan Bible is so unoriginal and.. ah, I am frustrated:))
I agree with lark also I just don't like the term Wiccan bible, as I don't feel bible should ever go with the word Wicca. Joking apart, I have seen it has bad views.
Pretty much every book I mentioned is available through Waterstone's as can readily be determined by going to their website. If the Aberdeen store doesn't have the book you want in stock they should be easily able to order it for you.
